Red-necked Amazon

Endemic to Dominica. The Lesser Antilles has a quartet of endemic Amazon parrots, and two of these exist on Dominica only. Only one of them is potentially difficult, the critically endangered Imperial Amazon. This was my main worry on the tour, and my worries became reality. I did hear them for sure, but for once everything fought against me, especially the terrible weather I had to deal with.
