Lesser Antilles, the string of small island nations and territories in eastern Caribbean, had been tempting me for years since I read some well-written reports. My reluctance had mostly to do with the notoriously unreliable logistics. But my planning worked out and I was able to visit the seven destinations of Grenada, St. Vincent, Barbados, Saint Lucia, Dominica, Guadeloupe and Martinique in that order (with a two-week detour to Guyana in between!). I got all of my approximately 45 targets, except for the critically endangered Imperial Amazon, which I only heard. The first 6 photos represent some of the most desired species on the trip.
