Arabian Red Fox

We encountered the Arabian Red Fox mostly at night while spotlighting, but also in daylight on a few occasions. Note the typical black chest and underparts. Their call is also notably different from our Scandinavian foxes; a rapid, raspy and ascending three note kwaa-kwaa-kwaa. A future split, perhaps?
