Negros Scops Owl

The Philippines is rich in owl diversity, and we managed to see 11 species, Boobooks and Scops Owls. Most are endemics and look pretty much alike the others within their genus. The Negros Scops Owl however, stands ut a bit with its rufous face. After this tour, I can say that I have photographed “most Owls”, 127 species out of 249 worldwide.
