Flamecrest

Regulus goodfellowi
Dasyueshan National Forest, Taiwan - May 3 2017
A Flamecrest perched close to me.
To me personally the Flamecrest was the most important of all Taiwanese birds to see and photograph. It is not a difficult bird to find in high altitude conifers, but there are quite few high quality photos of this bird. I was hoping to get one. Also, the Flamecrest was the last member of the Kinglet family that went down in my bag. There are 6 species of Kinglets in the world.
