I have always been a huge fan of woodpeckers and have worked up my woodpecker worldlist to 198 species out of the 235 extant woodpeckers of the world. 120 species are photographed and 20 photos made it all the way into Gerard Gormans ”Woodpeckers of the World” published recently. I was really happy to get such a great opportunity with this tiny, bamboo-dwelling gem.
