Abbott's Booby

The Abbott's Booby breeds only on Christmas Island and is classified as an endangered species. Even if non-breeders disperse into the vast oceans, this island is the only place that one can count on seeing the bird. They are odd Boobies, bizarre-looking with their large head and heavy bill. They make me think of something antediluvian, like Pterosaurs or at least half albatrosses.
