American Pygmy Kingfisher

It was long overdue to find and photograph this little gem. Kingfishers are close to my heart and to get as many of them, at least the Neotropical ones, into my galleries feels urgent on a personal level. This particular male American Pygmy Kingfisher showed well, but it was difficult to maneuver around all the twigs to get a clear shot.
