This desert species is also a Passer and a bit difficult to access in Western Palearctic. In recent years however, they have been increasingly easy to find in the Aousserd area. We did not fail to find them. They stick with the Desert Sparrows and even if there are not many of them, they stand out as golden lanterns among their drab cousins. We saw seven birds at one point, but there were probably more of them...
