Maroon-chested Ground Dove

A very rare occasion happened when this handsome male Maroon-chested Ground Dove sat right in the open and sang his double-note song. Usually confined well hidden inside the bamboo and seldom seen. The bamboo was seeding at the time which made the doves active, we heard more than this one. It was the first time that I could lay eyes on it, as well as for all of my travel companions.
