Tody Motmot

I had been looking for three days at Tikal, and was already heading for the exit when I scored gold. Silently it was sitting in the shadows, only a couple of feet above ground. I felt remarkable fortunate to get photos of yet another new Motmot, the tiniest member of the eye-catching Motmot family.
